Sling TV update simplifies streaming on Apple TV. Sling TV has started out the new year with a new user interface for Apple TV devices. The new UI features an updated guide that provides a more content-centric experience with better control over how you manage your favorite channels and more information about shows available to watch. As one person found out, the Sling TV app for Apple TV 4 was briefly available to download from the tvOS App Store today, with those quick enough to spot it able to download the app and use it without issue. Unfortunately the Sling TV app is no longer available from the App Store as it was pulled soon after, but we can only imagine that won’t be the case for long. One app I'm considering is Sling TV as I only subscribe to internet services from Comcast and don't care for their TV or phone packages. If you want to watch those on your Apple TV, you'll need to use mirroring via the free Sling TV app your iPhone or iPad. Open the app, slide up from the bottom of the screen to view the Control Panel, and then select AirPlay, select Apple TV, and I have a 4th generation Apple TV, and the Sling TV app is incredibly unstable.
